Description
Metal-Fab utilize a new technology to make their products superior to others. The Special double-wall construction allows direct vent stoves and fireplaces to operate without using air from inside, instead they draw combustion air in from outdoors through the direct vent system. This means that the warm inside air is not being used as fuel, and no fumes, condensation, or smoke will be let into the room.
An attic insulation shield is required anytime the chimney system passes through an attic, regardless if insulation is present or not. This part is used to prevent the insulation from coming into contact with the pipe.
